Work Description: One bedroom apartment in Grenwich Village, which was not painted for many years. The ceilings and the corners of the walls were cracked and in bad shape. The painter suggested to use a strengthing mesh before plastering so that the painted job would last much longer. He also suggested to remove the old paint from the doors, to give the effect of smooth, new doors. Now that the job is completed, my apartment looks brand new and everyone has been admiring the paint job.

Comments: It was a pleasure to deal with Tako Painters, because they are true gentlemen, father and son of Polish desent, where they take great pride in their work and never argue or cause stress. They also accepted hearing small corrections well. It was very refreshing for me to deal with these painters who showed great integrity. I highly reccomend them.

Comments: This is a very professional company, and I wholeheartedly recommend them all the way. they took the time to do every phase of the job right. After careful preparation (moving some furniture, covering the floors etc), they proceeded with the plastering (sometimes several layers), sanding, then several layers of trim-coats, primer, two coats of paint etc. and the result is outstanding. very much worth the price, considering the man-hours and the result.
